Develop a morguefile that visually highlights the prevailing fashions of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, including womenswear, menswear, and accessories.
Process
The project required me to pull on my latent knowledge and research of fashhion history in order to maintain accuracy and decide the most inpactful prevailing trends of each time period.
Image acquisition was the most difficult part of the process: images needed to accurately reflect the decade and trends of the time, while not containing retroism or costumes.
To start, I broke the project into three parts, separated by decade. Each third required an introductory statement and 12 images, 3 for each subsection (Women’s Daywear, Women’s Evening Wear, Menswear, and Accessories).
